for Addiction, Trauma, Mood Disorders & Parenting
2 DAY TRAINING FOR CLINICIANS (Day 1 can be ALL STAFF)
Learn an easy to teach brain-based model that explains the role emotional regulation plays in addiction. This model helps clients understand addiction and their own emotional challenges in a way that relieves shame and stress and increases motivation! This model can be taught to the entire staff and absolutely change an entire milieu.
Learn the 5 point “brain state” model and the 5 corresponding tools clients can use in therapy, on their own, and throughout the treatment milieu to stay emotionally regulated and return to a regulated state when dysregulated. Repeated use of these skills over time has been shown to decrease stress, improve mood, and turn down addictive drives.
